The Rossoneri could be back on Drogba's tail this summer…
Milan could be about to rekindle their interest in Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, according to reports in Italy.
Il Corriere Dello Sport claims the Ivorian's behaviour following the Champions League exit to Barcelona will have an impact on his Stamford Bridge future.
However, Chelsea claimed Drogba would not be punished by the club following his public apology. Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped the Italian press from linking the hitman with a Serie A move. It is understood that Roman Abramovich is furious with the striker, whose contract expires in 2010, but he could be off-loaded sooner rather than later.
Milan could be tempted to offer €17 million for the African powerhouse as the Rossoneri showed an interest in him during last season's transfer window, when they were discouraged by his high price.
Drogba and Chelsea are anxiously waiting to hear from UEFA over his actions against referee Tom Henning Ovrebo. Reports suggest he will face a two or three match ban, however, some claim he could be banned for the entire group stage of next season's Champions League, in which case, selling him could be a better option for the club.
Meanwhile, Andriy Shevchenko, who is on-loan at Milan from Chelsea, will be free to find another club, according to The Daily Mail.
