You Can't Compare Drogba And Milito - Inter Coach Mourinho

The Inter coach talked about two possible transfer targets for the club and the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from tomorrow's match against Chievo.

Although the Scudetto has not been won yet by Inter, the club are already looking at the transfer market for reinforcements ahead of next season. With Adriano now gone, and Hernan Crespo and Julio Cruz set to leave the club, there will certainly be some new faces in the Nerazzurri's attack next season.

According to some reports there is already an agreement with Genoa for Argentinean striker Diego Milito, while Didier Drogba has also often been linked with Inter, mostly due to former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho's presence.

In today's press conference ahead of the away match against Chievo, Mourinho also spoke about these two possible transfer objectives.

"I don't know Milito, but I'm a friend of Drogba's," he said to Inter Channel. "I've never had a life with Diego, while I've spent three and a half seasons with Didier at Chelsea. I know Drogba, but I'm not Milito's friend. Not yet anyway... (laughs).

"In any case, they are two great footballers, but completely different ones: like Van Gogh and Chagall. You cannot compare them at all."

On the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in tomorrow's match due to suspension, Mourinho said: "He's been suspended, like a lot of players have in this stage of the season. He is not an important player: he is the best of the whole Italian league, so his absence counts. But we are a team, and without him, in this season, we earned four points in two games."

With four matches to go, Inter hold a seven-point advantage over Milan on top of the table.
